Anyone get the Polaroid Spectra Softtone from TIP?
I saw today that The Impossible project is selling Spectra/Image Softtone Film pretty cheap! Like $10 cheap! I bought 5 of them already and can't wait!!
When I bought TZ and 600 edge cut I had barely any lines in my film so im excited about this stuff! Anyone else get any?

Hi,
When TIP decided to sell the TZ and 600 edge cut, it's been quite an excitment here, I don't know about the US sale, but in Europe it's been a fight to fill the cart AND to proceed to payment.
Some of us couldn't buy any...
I still don't know about the Spectra sale, but regarding the random lines, you can check and see in the galleries :
600 edge cut : HERE
TZ edge cut : HERE

Yeah I had to fight to fill mine too, almost didnt get the 4 that I got! I was lucky and waited up. The Spectra stuff isnt being bought up as fast but I still got some early. I love Spectra cameras and their big film!

Yes, I think less people would fight for Spectra films !
In France, 600 cameras, and now SX cameras have come back on top of Polaroid cameras, so you get a chance to fill your cart (and purchase) with the Image Edge cut films.
A lot of us, seing on one side that the TIP films weren't as satisfying as they should be, and on the other side that the TZ and 600 were dying and/or too expensive turned to Image and Fuji Instax cameras, to get stable and available films !
It's a long lasting dilemma, or issue, choosing a camera that fits your wishes, and getting an available and lasting film for it...

For sure TIP is an exciting challenge, and we all rushed on the PX100 FF when it's been released.
Finding new films for our cameras was a thrilling experience, and to sum up the feedback here, we were both happy and dissapointed, some even very angry to see the picture was dissapearing in a few day. Far from the expectation !
Anyway we're keeping on supporting them, they started from zero, they have improved though the road is still long to perfection and stability.
Luckily, we have also instax, Image films, and also very good films for our Pack 100 cameras !

Indeed! I love fuji ^^
The main problem I have for TIP is stability! I hated seeing my px70 color pictures disappear in speckles, and I even stored it properly. I hope this improves soon, i don't care about color if its just going to disappear in a month!

By the way, dear, there is a kind of good habit here in this forum, it's to introduice yourself, by saying who you are, where you live, what kind of a pola addict you are, what brings you here...
You can do that in English, it will be read and understood widely here !
to do so, please click HEREand then, click on "Nouveau", meaning "New topic", and let yourself go...
Then "Envoyer" means send the message/topic, you'll reach most of the forum goers by this !
